Nabbed from
levana_b. Have fun!
1. What would you conceivably use as a pseudonym?
Probably something involving my middle name - Melissa. I've always loved that name, and would love to have a chance to use it. Melissa Rayne, perhaps. It has a nice ring.
2. If you could be in a movie, which would it be and what character would you play?
I would love to play Thursday Next, if we're going for movies that haven't actually been made yet. If it has to be a movie that's already been filmed, then Yvaine, the star in Stardust, only I would have played her like she is written in the book (also I don't have that ethereal quality that Claire Danes has in abundance). I do however, have a deep love for a boy who often seems a bit silly to others.
3. Are you cookie racist (like vanilla over chocolate, etc.)?
I have a few favorites, and there are some cookies I won't eat - chocolate sandwich cookies that aren't Oreos, anything with coconut that tastes like it has it. I actually crave vanilla sandwich cookies now and again. For those rolling on the floor laughing, I also crave gingersnaps, and have been known to consume a whole bag.
4. Would you rather drink vinegar or go bungee jumping?
Erm, neither actually. Although balsamic dressing is one of the best things to ever meet lettuce. I suppose, if the quantity was small enough, the vinegar. If not, I guess I could try the bungee jumping.
5. What's one magical skill you wished you had?
A bit of kitchen magic - the ability to know how much of something you need or have without actually looking at it. This would be incredibly helpful when attacking a knitting pattern without the exact yarn it calls for, at the precise gauge the designer and test knitter had. See, I managed to sneak knitting into a totally non-related post!
Shana Tovah u'Metukah (a good and sweet new year) to all my friends, and anyone else that happens upon the blog. K'tivah v'Chatimah Tovah (may you be inscribed and sealed with a favorable judgment), and may all your prayers for the year be answered.
