Date: 2007-01-19 05:14 am (UTC)The first should really be "my lady", but regardless, it implies that you're a Marchioness, Countess, Viscountess, Baroness, or Lady of Parliament. The "Right Reverend," though, is what's really bizzare- it implies that you're either a Bishop or Diocesan Bishop, but then it should be "Rt Rev the Bishop Terri" or "Rt Rev the Lord Bishop Terri". I don't recall off the top of my head if the Anglicans allow female bishops.
The latter could be correct, but never as an address, only as a title. You'd be addressed as The Rt Hon. The Vicsountess....on an envelope, Madam or Dear Lady as a salutation in a letter, and my lady or lady in person.
