Knitted Headwear

6 Headbands. I have knitted 6 headbands. With 3 more on needles.

I hate headbands. They are easy, short, scarflike, and... boring. Bloody boring.

But I committed to pressies this year. And so I must bravely knit on. And hopefully there will be thank yous. And people will have lovely warm things around their ears.

So it's mostly ok.

Oh, I have been making them interesting. Diagonal garter, short row triangle things, garter ridges thrown into stockinette. It's the concept that's getting boring. Also I have limited types of yarn to work with.

A thin purple wool that has been dyed all sorts of lovely shades, a handspun variegated brown (thick and thin single ply), and an electruc blue and black boucle. Sale yarns and gleanings from people.
